From about 2025/04/25 00:30 UTC to 2025/04/25 13:00 UTC the Epokingine website was inaccessable.
At about 2025/04/25 00:00 UTC changes to network settings for an important server were made to prepare for the release of PlantInt, this is what likely caused the outage. After testing the changes made specifically for PlantInt it was decided that they should be kept for further testing. At about 2025/04/25 00:30 UTC further changes to the server were made and were not properly documented, at about 2025/04/25 02:40 UTC it became known that the Epokingine website was down. From about 2025/04/25 02:40 UTC to about 2025/04/25 05:00 UTC a solution to this problem was being looked for, at about 2025/04/25 13:00 UTC it became clear that the incident was caused by the network changes and not the undocumented changes.
Since most of these actions were done manually it has been decided that automation scripts will be written to do these actions to ensure consistency and a dedicated testing server will be created within the near future.
